MKE Signs $30 Million Contract for the US Market
Makine ve Kimya Endüstrisi (MKE) is showcasing its production of light infantry weapons and ammunition, heavy weapons, CBRN equipment, various smoke munitions, and cartridges used by European internal security units at the ongoing International Defense and Security Exhibition Eurosatory in Paris, France.
As of 2023, MKE has been recognized as “Turkey’s Fastest Growing” and “Turkey’s Top Export Growth” company, featuring over 60 products at the exhibition.
Among the products on display are the 105 mm BORAN, the first howitzer export product in the history of the Republic; the 76/62 mm naval gun DENİZHAN, now part of the Turkish Armed Forces inventory; sniper and infantry rifles with their ammunition; chemical attack protective equipment; and countermeasure decoy ammunition and cartridges.
At Eurosatory, MKE signed a contract for over $30 million to sell semi-automatic light weapons to the American market.
This agreement is expected to contribute to MKE’s growth objectives in the international market and strengthen its presence in the United States.
