New record in global markets

While global markets focused on US non-farm payrolls data, stock markets hit a new record high. MSCI World index reached a new record high.

Global stock markets rose to record highs ahead of the critical US non-farm payrolls data. Supported by a series of data from the US, the MSCI World Index broke a record.

In Asia, the Japanese Topix index also hit its intraday record high, while Korean shares rose on Samsung’s balance sheet. US stock futures are slightly higher in the morning. Bonds remain calm before the non-farm data. US 10-year bond yield is at 4.359 percent.
