500 million dollar bond issuance from Vakıfbank
Vakıfbank completed its 500 million dollar eurobond issuance. The issuance of 500 million dollars with a maturity of 5.25 years was reported to have received nearly 3 times the demand.
Vakıfbank realized a new sustainable eurobond issuance.
In a statement made by the bank, it was stated that the issuance of the 500 million dollar bond with a maturity of 5.25 years attracted nearly three times the demand.
The statement said that the yield of the transaction was 6.95 percent and the coupon rate was 6.875 percent. The transaction was realized with a 30 basis point improvement compared to the initial yield expectation.
Vakıfbank General Manager Abdi Serdar Üstünsalih said that with this latest transaction, the size of sustainable eurobond issuance increased to 2.5 billion dollars. Üstünsalih stated that this was the fourth eurobond transaction realized by the bank in the last one year.
