Automotive market contracted in September

In September, the automotive market contracted below 90 thousand units.

According to the Automotive Distributors and Mobility Association (ODMD) data, the automobile and light commercial vehicle market in September decreased by 11.6 percent compared to the same period of the previous year and became 85 thousand 540 units.

In September, automobile sales decreased by 14.61 percent compared to the same month of the previous year to 67 thousand 434 units, while the light commercial vehicle market increased by 1.6 percent to 18 thousand 106 units.

The automobile and light commercial vehicle market increased by 33.4 percent compared to the 10-year average sales in September. The automobile market increased by 37 percent compared to the 10-year average sales in September. The light commercial vehicle market increased by 21.7 percent compared to the 10-year average sales in September.
